Tables and Fables baseball T's
Gonna be getting a run of these badboys in, in two weeks. Pretty psyched on the design. Big thanks to JT Ahl for the concept and Chris True for bringing it to life. Might be doing more with this design in the near future too. Keep your eyes open!
Gamache on the skate vs. bike drama
Why is there so much animosity between skateboarders and BMX riders? The two of these lifestyles have the same goals, with the participants are both on the search for the next spot to ride, trick to learn, or skatepark to flow. Having skateparks that don't allow bikes is a major factor in the dislike towards each other. Why are bikes not allowed to ride certain parks due to pegs destroying coping but skateboard trucks are made of the same material and cause the same amount of damage? Riders have to sneak in early morning sessions at parks like FDR and Burnside before skateboarders get to the park, to avoid confrontations. These situations only cause the two groups to dislike one another, instead of enjoying the skateparks together. If the two worked together, there is the possibility of more skateparks being opened since it would create a place for kids to go and have a good time.
BMX can take a look at skateboarding and take notes. I know being a good skateboard is much less expensive then a good BMX bike, making it easier to get involved in, and a lot of BMX guys like staying under the radar, but getting more people involved would help our industry grow. We would be able to support more of the small, rider-owned companies and that would cause the quality of their products to increase. Look at a skate video versus a BMX video. Skateboarders are filmed in all of the best spots around the world, with much better quality cameras and equipment, and it shows.
I don't think BMX will ever be as popular as skateboarding, and I'm not saying that BMX should copy what they do, but I am saying that the hate should be dropped and we should help each other out. I think it will benefit both groups in the end.

Bike Check: Sean Burns
Being friends with Sean and working at his local shop, I am usually the guy to put together his bikes and build his wheels. Yesterday he came in with a new frame and a bunch of new parts and I did just that. The following is his new signature Bone Deth "Creepozoid" in chrome. Sean gave me a run-down of everything on his bike, and thanks to John Maul for the photos.

Bio: Ryan Lively
I've known Ryan for quite a long time now, he's someone that embodies what T&F is all about. He's down for whatever and is always having fun, whether it's on or off his bike. A few years back he had hurt his knee fairly bad and had to take some time off his bike, but lately he's been back on it and tearin' it up again! The following is a little something he wrote about himself, Ox as his friends call him is a true individual...read up!
Hello My name is Ryan and I like to party! I live in Pembroke Ma. By trade I am a plasterer. I've been riding bmx for the past 15 years. I like to get weird and always have some kind of bacon hanging out of my mouth. I started riding trails which are so fun, but I'd say my favorite is street cause it's already there just go ride it or jump off of it. It's the excitement of going out to new spots, then getting to shred them. I ride ramp but that tends to get a bit repetitive, still fun though so I like to try weirdo moves and stunts instead of focusing my ability on doing a double whip or tuck no hander. I like to ride with anyone who is riding for a good time, so pretty much anyone from the tables and fables family! So get out there do a whirly bird get weird smoke bacon and dont worry what is kool. Thanks to Mauls bike shop, June bmx, Tables and Fables, anyone who gave me a ride or parts or anything that helped me stay riding! ps...... I like to party and get weird!!

Snakerunnin with Tyrant......and Bigfoot?
Yesterday after a few weeks of planning we meet up the guys over at Tyrant to check out a hidden snake-run somewhere in the backwoods of Connecticut. Tony Vecca and I had been going back and forth for about a month trying to figure out a weekend that worked for both of us before Winter set in. It's nice to meet a group of guys that still has that friendly 90's mentality. He was nice enough to offer up a secret find to us, and someday I hope to repay the favor. (He even went despite having back problems!)
So off myself and the entire T&F crew went (minus a few) to meet up with these guys and try and finish up filming for our Fall edit that we had started last week. We usually never ride with a crew as bis as we did this week, but even rollin as deep as we were stuff still got laid down. The following are pictures that JT Ahl and myself took from that day and I'm also gonna post the link from what Tony V. had taken and posted on his Flickr. Big thanks for an overall amazing time! Hopefully we can sneak one more group trip in before it's freezing....fingers crossed!!
